South Green Garden Steps - Public Right of Way
Dereham Town Council is starting the process of claiming the South Green Garden steps as a Public Right of Way.

While people will have used these steps for many years, they are still not recognised as a Public Right of Way.

The Town Council, with the help of local residents, will be distributing Evidence Forms for people to complete. Once the evidence has been collected, it will be submitted to Norfolk County Council.
While claiming the steps as a Public Right of Way will not automatically lead to improvements, it will help to support future maintenance.

The Town Council would welcome additional evidence from members of the public. The Evidence Pack can be found below, or a paper copy can be collected from the Town Council Offices on Quebec Street, Dereham.
